Learning Environment Architecture Development (LEAD) Project

UC Davis faculty, staff and students can clearly benefit from the use of new technologies to enhance the quality of education, meet the needs of a growing, diverse student population, and streamline academic and administrative systems.

Through consultation with faculty, staff and students, through pilot testing and prototyping, and through work with national efforts such as the National Learning Infrastructure Initiative and the Instructional Management System , the Learning Environment Architecture Development team (and associated workgroups) has developed a comprehensive definition of the tools, architecture and infrastructure for a learning environment that will match the needs and unique culture of the University of California, Davis campus.
